This policy explains what personal data Malt & Press processes, why, and the rights you have. The short version: we ask for personal data only when you send us something, we set no advertising trackers, and analytics stay off unless you opt in.

Forms you submit
When you claim a producer listing or suggest a correction, we process the details you enter: your name, email address, your role at the producer and your message. We use them only to verify the claim and to reply, and we store the exact consent wording you agreed to at submission.
If you send a visit request through the site, we process your name, contact details and message in order to pass the request to the single producer concerned, and only to that producer.
You can ask us to delete a submission at any time; your personal data is then erased or anonymised.
Cookies
The site sets one strictly necessary first-party cookie, vp_consent, which stores your cookie choice for 180 days. No analytics or marketing cookies are set unless you choose "Accept all" in the cookie banner. At the moment no analytics service is loaded at all; if one is added, it will run only with that consent. You can change your choice at any time via "Manage cookies" in the footer.
Anonymous usage statistics
To see which listings are useful, we count a few actions: clicks through to a producer's website or booking page, and views of producer pages. These counts are anonymous and only ever aggregated: we store a running number per listing per day and nothing that identifies you, no cookie, no IP address, no profile. Because nothing can be traced to a person, this counting requires no consent and is not affected by your cookie choice.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our servers record technical access logs (IP address, browser identifier, requested page) to keep the service secure and to diagnose faults. Logs are kept briefly and are not used to profile visitors. Traffic is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes connection data as our service provider.
Information about producers
The site publishes business information about producers: names, addresses, opening hours, offerings. It comes from openly licensed sources and from the producers’ own public websites, and it concerns businesses rather than private individuals. Producers can have their information corrected or removed by contacting us.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can also complain to your national data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, write to .
